The “Imagine Rainbow” License Plate

The license plate story began when I went down to the DMV to reserve the name for the plate instead of mailing in my request. I had a premonition that the plate would be available to me because at a recent political fundraiser, somebody told me I should go down there in person and have the clerk contact the headquarters in Tallahassee because they don’t necessarily put all the available plate names in the public record.

After checking online, the clerk told me that it was not available. That’s why I insisted that the she contact someone at the main office as had been previously suggested to me. I would not have visited the DMV office if I thought I would not have been able to obtain the plate. Much to my delight, the Tallahassee office told me that the plate was available. It was like winning the lottery!

It had been out of circulation since 2013. What are the odds of the plate being available for five years? And 2013 is the year my previous business ended which then placed me into retirement. I feel the rainbow plate was waiting for me, waiting for the amazing experiences of seeing three rainbows moving towards me on the water. The third rainbow showed up on the day the license plate arrived. It can’t be a coincidence because I have had many amazing experiences that have been so perfectly timed that you can’t even comprehend the scope of what I have been experiencing. I know these are all signs that I am on the right path.

Curiously, the “Imagine Florida Rainbow” license plate is a fundraiser for which supports efforts to fight hunger in the state and has been inspired by John Lennon’s song, Imagine. They have raised over $3.8 million so far. The words to the song are very special to me as it says ” Imagine all the people, living life in peace. You may say that I’m a dreamer. But I’m not the only one. I hope some day you’ll join us and the world will be as one.” That is one of the goals of the Rainbow Project Group as we work towards bringing peace, harmony and doing good in the world through our special projects.
